Elizabeth is a Mixed Media artist who loves textures from both nature and rusty old things. She loves bringing to life things that seem no longer useful. Combining repurposed things with bold colors and whimsical designs can bring the natural and sometimes unnatural things together. This Last year's portfolio is the truest expression of her voice as an artist.
She thrives with anything that is lifegiving and tells a unique story. She has traveled from a young age and loves adventure and the expressions of nature and whimsy. Inspiring people to see beyond the surface, allows her to capture on a canvas the lighter expression of life through vibrant backgrounds and bold colors. Her faith and connection with God is a firm foundation upon which she seeks her greatest inspiration and hope.
Elizabeth's Life experience has allowed her to gain a vast resource to draw from. Many of her paintings capture these stories of her life and God’s faithfulness. Through life's journey, she has reinvented herself many times over by traveling the world, serving her country in the military, as a wife, being a mother of two, and walking through losing her husband of twenty-eight years to cancer.
After losing her husband she went on an 8-year journey to discover what she truly was meant to do with her life. Her old friend ART resurfaced and began to evolve as she studied with many other artists along the way. She now operates an AirBnB and studio on a secluded property in Kings Mountain, NC. She has truly found that the joy of the Lord is her strength. She has curated a collection of her work and of others she has met along the way that is on display in her beautiful home. Elizabeth's heart is to mentor others to inspire them to connect with their creative side. She has dreams of visiting the national parks and painting the images she encounters along her journeys. She invites her guest to join her on “This Journey Called Life with stories of hope and adventure.” Helping them to truly "Live Intentionally For Every one Everything and Every moment.
